General City Service Co, originally the General Detroit Corporation, was a company based out of Detroit, Michigan in the mid 20th century. Producing a variety of equipment, it entered the outdoor warning siren business in the late 1930s by selling Federal Electric's Fedelcode sirens with custom-built housings. The company would cease operations sometime in the mid 20th century.

Information is scarce about the company, although some information is known. The company was originally known as the General Detroit Corporation, which operated out of Detroit, MI. The company entered a partnership with Federal Electric to produce rebranded variants of the Fedelcode line of sirens, which included the Model 5 (C2 1/2), Model 2, and the short-lived Model 1/2.
