The VR Series is a line of electronic, omnidirectional sirens produced by Sentry Siren Incorporated. Sentry advertises them as having unmatched voice clarity over distances with an STI rating up to 0.91 out of 1.00.
Sentry offers 3 different models.
- VR-1 with up to a 1/4 mile radius, 600 W RMS power and an STI intelligibility of 0.84 of 1.00
- VR-5 with up to a 1/2 mile radius, 1,375 W RMS power and an STI intelligibility of 0.91 of 1.00
- VR-10 with up to a 1 mile radius, 3,200 W RMS power and an STI intelligibility of 0.91 of 1.00
