The C1 1/2 or most commonly known as the Model 3, not to be confused with the C2 1/2 (Model 5) which had a 15 inch rotor, was a 3 horse power, mechanical, omni-directional siren produced by Federal Signal Corporation part of the Fedelcode lineup. The Model 3 is a step down from the Model 5, but people still manage to get confused with the two despite the Model 3 being pretty uncommon. The rotor is 13 inches in diameter which came in 2 different port ratios: 12 and 8-port single tone only. No dual tone versions of this siren were available due to the Model 2T already filling this role. The siren was housed in a very simple enclosure that resembles an air vent found on building roofs. The C1 1/2 was the least sold model, only marginally louder than the Model 2, which caused it to be not as successful, and was discontinued due to lack of demand as the Model 2 outsold it.
