The Model 2 is an omnidirectional siren produced by Federal Signal Corporation. It is Federal Signal's oldest siren still in production out of the outdoor siren lineup. This siren has a rating of 102 decibels at 100 feet, though in older Federal Signal catalogs the Model 2 was rated at 104 dBc. There was also a coded version in the beginning of the production called the FEDELCODE. Despite the name, most models did not contain a coding mechanism. There was also a version called the 2T which had a rating of 100 decibels at 100 feet. In older Federal Signal catalogs the Model 2 was rated at 104 dBc.
