Produced ? - Mid 1960's

The Model 3 was an omnidirectional siren produced by Federal Signal Corporation. This siren has a rating of 105 decibels at 100 feet. It was a very basic small 12 port siren. Very similar to the Model 5, but smaller. The Model 3 is most notably famous for being the "grandfather" of the 2001 series.

Model 3T

In the early years of the Cold War, Federal Signal Corporation released a version of the Model 3 that was dual tone. Although the exact decibel rating is not known, it presumably produced 101-103 decibels at 100 feet.
