The Disa siren is a gasoline powred mechanical siren that was made from about early to mid 1940s. It is powered by a 2-stroke Villers gasoline engine. It has an 8 port chopper and stator that can have the pitch and sounds output level controlled by the throttle as well as a manually controlled shutter to close off the ports.
