The Model 5 was a 5 horse power, mechanical, omni-directional siren produced by Federal Signal Corporation. It's essentially the smaller version of the Model 7. The rotor is 15 inches in diameter and shares the same stator as the 12 port side of the 2T22 siren. There are two variants of the Model 5: the Model 5 which is 12 port single tone, and Model 5T which is 9/12 port dual tone. The siren was housed in a very simple enclosure that resembles an air vent found on building roofs.
