I go by Arx. I'm a cybernetically enhanced wolf (well, I wish!) who is a railfan, siren enthusiast, and somewhat of a traffic signal and car wash enthusiast. I created and ran the Civil Defense Sirens Wiki, until it was moved to here on ARS. I currently own a Federal Sign & Signal Model L, a Sterling Siren Fire Alarm MOD. F (4th gen), as well as a first generation Safetran mechanical crossing bell which dates back to the early 1970s. I will also soon be owning a mini Federal Signal 500-AT (thanks BSC!). I'm a big fan of ska punk and power metal music.
