The Manual Sirens series is a series of hand-operated sirens produced by Taizhou Lion King Signal, or simply Lion King, based in the People's Republic of China.

The series was first introduced during the mid-to-late 2000s and has been produced ever since. Despite their general poor build quality, the series is popular with many siren enthusiasts looking to own a cheap, relatively cost-effective siren.

The series is split up into 3 sub-series, these being the:

Portable Manual Sirens

Model LK-100

The smallest of Lion King's hand-operated siren series, the Model LK-100 is a simple siren in terms of design, consisting of an 8-port aluminum stator and rotor being powered by a hand crank behind the assembly, which can retract for easier transportation. The hand crank rotates the rotor via a series of several gears behind the stator which are encased by an aluminum housing. Many rebranded Model LK-100 cranks typically have minor differences compared to units produced by Lion King. A flower-shaped finger guard is included in front of the stator, held on by 3 screws, to prevent injury from misuse of the siren, as it is small enough to be held. The siren typically comes in green, though completely unpainted units are also relatively common.

A shutter mechanism is also present on the siren, allowing for coded signals to be produced through the use of an aluminum stator ring, which closes the ports when the small trigger on the right of the siren is pulled. Some units have finger guards on the stator ring, while others do not. Another irregularity between the finger guards is the color; most (painted) units have green finger guards, matching the color of the rest of the siren, while others are unpainted. Model LK-100 units produced by Lion King also have text stamped onto the front of the stator, reading "Warning: Parts could cause severe cuts. Do not reach into siren openings.", with Lion King's logo besides it. Rebranded units lack this text. The LK-100 is purported to reach 110 decibels at 1 meter, though this depends on the speed of the hand crank turning. It weighs about 1.2 kg (2.5 lb) and is about 9.5" tall, 8" long (when the crank is fully extended), and 5" long, including the stator ring's trigger.

Model LK-100P

The Model LK-100P is a variant of the Model LK-100. The most notable (and perhaps only) difference is the material used for the siren; the Model LK-100P uses red ABS plastic as opposed to aluminum. The finger guard in front of the stator is also plastic. Because of this, the siren weighs significantly less, only weighing 1 lb. Model LK-100P units produced by Lion King also have text stamped onto the front of the stator, reading "Warning: Parts could cause severe cuts. Do not reach into siren openings.", with Lion King's logo besides it. Rebranded units lack this text. The stator ring is also inconsistent for the Model LK-100P, with some units having aluminum stator rings and others having plastic ones. The siren is, as stated on Lion King's (most recent) website, intended to be used as a fire siren. Aside from these differences, the Model LK-100P is virtually identical to the Model LK-100.

Model LK-100L

The Model LK-100L is a (now discontinued) variant of the Model LK-100. The Model LK-100L is essentially a Model LK-100 without the handles mounted upon a large aluminum stand, the length of which seems to be adjustable, judging by the siren's dimensions' image, which is supported by 3 legs attached to a square base. The siren is also painted red, unlike the standard green. Model LK-100L units produced by Lion King also have text stamped onto the front of the stator, reading "Warning: Parts could cause severe cuts. Do not reach into siren openings.", with Lion King's logo besides it. Rebranded units lack this text. Aside from these differences, the Model LK-100L is virtually identical to the Model LK-100. The siren is 47" tall, disregarding the siren's base, 8" long (when the crank is fully extended), and 5" wide, also disregarding the siren's base and including the stator ring's trigger. The Model LK-100L was discontinued sometime in the mid-2010s, likely due to it being redundant.
