Fire Sirens

Indoor Use Fire Sirens

MIZ24SR

The MIZ24SR the 1st siren listed of Tucano's indoor-use fire siren lineup, being little more than a small 24 V DC speaker protected by a 4x2 inch red rectangular housing with a small grille in the middle. Two large holes are located on the center of each side of the housing for mounting the siren. The siren outputs 83 dB, though the range this was recorded at is unknown. This siren was likely originally created by another company, like all of Tucano's siren offerings. Other than this, little else is notable about the siren.

D457

The D457 is the 2nd siren in the lineup, being a small step up from its smaller counterpart, the MIZ24SR. The D457 is larger and has a square 4x4 housing with a large grille at the front of the housing as opposed to the MIZ24SR's smaller 2x2 rectangular housing with a small grille. The D457 comes stock with 8 tones, runs on 12/24 V DC and is able to be switched between a louder or quieter volume. The siren's decibel rating is unknown, as Tucano does not provide on their website. The siren has a variant named the D457C which runs on 127/220 V AC and has a horizontal grille instead of the D457's vertical one. These sirens were likely originally created by another company, like all of Tucano's siren offerings. Other than this, little else is notable about the siren.

AH24WPR

The AH24WPR is the 3rd siren in the lineup, being near identical to its slightly smaller counterpart, the D457. Unlike the D457, the AH24WPR's sides are completely flat. The AH24WPR also has 4 large holes on the edges of the front of the housing, meant for mounting the siren. The siren outputs 95 dB, though the range this was recorded at is unknown. The siren's maximum operating temperatures are -40°C to 66°C (150.8°F) and it runs on 24 V DC. This siren was likely originally created by another company, like all of Tucano's siren offerings. Other than this, little else is notable about the siren.

FTTKCSR07

The FTTKCSR07 is the 4th and largest siren in the lineup, utilizing an omnidirectional design instead of the previous siren's directional ones. The siren consists of an omnidirectional speaker protected by a cylindrical ABS plastic housing with a small mount at the bottom and small openings at the top of the siren to project the speaker's sound. The openings are protected by a mesh screen circling around the speaker. The FTTKCSR07 comes stock with 4 tones and can either run on 12/24 V DC (FTTKCSR07-DC) or 127/220 V AC (FTTKCSR07-AC). This siren was likely originally created by another company, like all of Tucano's siren offerings. Other than this, little else is notable about the siren.

The siren's maximum operating temperatures are -25ºC to 70ºC (-13ºF to 158ºF) and is 93x93 mm. The siren can either run on 12 (TUCSG540-12V) or 24 V DC (TUCSG540-12V). This siren was likely originally created by another company, like all of Tucano's siren offerings. Other than this, little else is notable about the siren.

TUCS3266M-AC

The TUCS3266M-AC is the 2nd siren of Tucano's outdoor-use fire siren lineup, returning to the directional siren design. Like the TUCSG540, it comes stock with 32 tones and has maximum operating temperatures of -25ºC to 70ºC (-13ºF to 158ºF). The siren is 107x119 mm and runs only on 127/220 V AC, with no DC options available. This siren was likely originally created by another company, like all of Tucano's siren offerings.
